Approximately 50 minutes after the conclusion of the 29th round of the Mir Russian Premier League match between Dynamo and Krasnodar (2-1), the evacuation alert system was activated at VTB Arena: ‘Emergency situation, everyone must leave the building immediately.’
Later, SE reported that the evacuation was triggered by an anonymous phone call claiming a bomb threat.
“After the match ended, a signal of a possible threat was received. In accordance with current security regulations, all such reports are subject to mandatory verification. This included an inspection of the premises with the involvement of a canine unit. As a result of the check, no dangerous objects were found,” a spokesperson for VTB Arena stated.
